More goofing around in Durendal's Legacy-Verse Alaereen forces have captured a Human colony-city. And while off-duty, one of the occupying soldiers is spending some time with the civilians. She's hoping to soften their view of Alaerin. To show that they aren't a just bunch of evil giant amazons out to stomp on/eat the punny Humans.

Well, she's cerrtainly succeeded in changing some opinions! About Alaereen in general, and (unfortunately) about herself in paticular. ...Now why do you suppose a badass soldier like her was carrying around that children's-cuddle-cat?



I didn't have faith in my ability to draw this scene--and I have the failed sketch to prove it--so I drew this on two pages, then pieced them together in photoshop. Hense the two different crappy perspectives. Oh well, before you can draw good cityscapes, you've got to be able to draw bad ones....
