Two Human scouts make first contact with one of the smaller races of the Legacy-Verse. Or at least first contact with this particular colony of one of the smaller races... The leader of the little guys has made a point to approach the 'giants' unarmed, to prove that he--and his people--are not intimated. Much.

Mm that could be a ploy you realize. You don't need a weapon yourself if you have a few buddies hiding in the background with long ranged heavy weapons and shots or aiming devices. That way you get to look brave knowing that there is an anti-tank weapon pointed at the person you're speaking with.
