From her perspective: Misty McGuire found a little green man from Mars floating in her swimming pool. He was cute, and a bit of a charmer, so she decided to help him in his probe-the-Earthlings mission.
From his perspectice: Dyson is a space marshal from Mars, who has accidently crash landed on Earth. His mission was actually to stop space pirates, not to probe anyone, but he lives a life of adventure and romance (kind of like Captain Kirk) and has a knack for getting into a woman's pants. Though usually not in quite a litteral sense.
