An Alaereen on a colony-world bundles up against the seasonal chill. And wonders why the Human isn't bundled up with her. She knows he's cold--its barely ten degrees above freezing! Maybe he's just trying to act tough. Well, stubborn gun-totting alien or not, no one catches pneumonia on her shoulder. If she sees him so much as shiver.......






I need to find a way to make my backgrounds look like I pust some time and effort into them. Without, you know, actually putting any time or effort into them. Because I certainly don't want to do that...


The big blue Alaereen were dreamed up by Durendal :icondurendal5150: . Although he imagined them wearing a lot less than this. But not all of them can live in thier native tropical envorinoment...

hehehe, cute. I certainly enjoy the ones like this the most.

I don't know anything about drawing backgrounds, so I can't help ya there. but as one of those little nitpicking punks for this setting, I think the alaerin info doc makes mention that square structures are reserved for military buildings since it's simple and easy to do. otherwise, their buildings are...more eye-catching by human standards.

but don't mind me, I still enjoy your work ^^

Nothing wrong with putting time into a background, it sometimes makes the whole picture. :)

That's an odd little vehicle the humans are using. It's a hovercraft, I presume?

Blargh, I got that same problem too. . . truth is I NEVER draw backgrounds XD I paint them in with a feathered brush to make it look like it as unfocused by the camera
