Although they cannot have children without men, some Amazons still find it unseemly to approach a man. Because men, in general, are scum, and Amazons shouldn't willingly associate with scum. But if a man approaches her, and if he 'somehow' manages to force himself upon her.... Well, those things happen. Incidents like that are why thier goddess created Amazons in the first place. And as long as the Amazon can later 'avenge' herself, and shed the father's blood for her daughter's initiation, then she can regain any honor she may have lost in the ordeal.

...Oh, and don't you dare suggest that this woman is in any way responsible for what is about to happen to her--that she should have fought back harder or that she shouldn't have been in this position in the first place--because that would make you a horrible person.

Eh, it all depends on what tradition they come from. Some bands of Amazons feel they should assert their dominance, others feel they should let men make the disgraceful first move. This lady is from one of the latter bands...
