drake's morning after

"Did you say something? I didn't hear you because I think I have slime in my ears..."



I've drawn a lot of pictures of Drakes lately, and most of those pictures revolve around the Drake having some sort of forceful romantic tryst with a Human. So its fair for the viewere to ask "Why with a Human? Why not with another Drake?" Well, in my 'drake profile' picture, I provided a very techno-babble-esque explanation for thier Human-preference, but allow me now to provide an alternate explanation.

Unlike a Drake, a Human doesn't have claws. Nor do they have fangs. Nor horns, nor bony portrusions from thier foreheads, nor barbed tails, nor a myriad of other miscelaneous spikey bits. Humans are soft and gentle, and never get greedy or try to impose thier will on thier partner. In short, despite the occassional awkwardness, Humans just make better lovers than do Drakes!

...Of course, each of the points mentioned above implies a reason why a Human would want to stay from Drakes. Which is why the Humans must usually be abducted for the tryst to happen. But at the very least, a satisfied and unhurt Drake is likely to be much more gentle and accomadating than either of the Drakes pictured here...
