Carina--my newly renamed giant naga character--chats with a human she found at the top of a dry creek bed. They're just exchanging hunting gossip. What the ground is like. How much the wind is blowing. Whether or not it looks like it'll rain. That sort of thing.

Carina is really hoping the human can tell her where the big scorpions are hiding today. Becuase scorpions are tasty meals wrapped in a hard candy shell!

The human is really hoping that scorpions are the only thing Carina is interested in. Otherwise, he'd have to shoot her in the neck and run like hell. And even then, he doesn't like the odds...
