Why do the knights and nobles of Vistallah turn a blind eye to the Amazons and She-Drakes and such that seem to delight in harassing the peasantry? Because the nobles are busy doing things like this! And because they imagine that the 'harassment' plays out something like this, and this kind of treatment isn't worth fighting about. (They are half-right about the treatment peasants endure.

Anyways, here's a second picture of an Iviojur. This time, showing a 'Gilded Iviojur,' who lives in service of a noble. She is provided with food, quarters, and several outfits gilded in silver, gold and gems. And in turn, she serves the noble. In battle, and in leisure.
